Andrea’s Focus
Andrea is a bilingual psychotherapist with experience in providing support for individuals of all ages working through life transitions, depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. Additionally, Andrea has had involvement in co-facilitating group therapy sessions for a forensic population, which has provided her has familiarized her with the legal system, including the various stressors it brings to those who have come into contact with it.

Andrea’s Philosophy
Through a collaborative effort, Andrea works with a client to set goals and create a plan that will be used to navigate the past and present with the goal of gaining a better understanding of oneself. While this experience can be challenging, perhaps even daunting at times, the therapeutic process can also be healing and fulfilling for the individual.

Andrea’s Approach
​
Andrea's approach to therapy begins with creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to encourage agency and self-exploration. While emphasizing the client’s strengths, Andrea also integrates techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness to assist in developing and/or enhancing coping strategies to manage present symptoms and building-up resilience to face future challenges.
