Jeanette’s Focus
Jeanette is a mental health counseling intern with experience serving populations of all ages. She has worked helping others struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and difficult life events. Jeanette works using techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamics. She believes if our problems are not addressed at the moment it leaks into different parts of our life. Her goal is to help clients get to a place where they feel they are healing and growing through what they have endured.

Jeanette’s Philosophy
Jeanette believes everyone she encounters deserves the highest level of care regardless of their past or background. She never wants anyone to feel judged or uncomfortable, which is why she serves her clients with compassion, kindness, empathy, and a smile. Coming from a first-generation Hispanic family, Jeanette knows firsthand what it’s like to feel broken and out of place. This is why she has made it her goal to spend the rest of her life helping people get to a place where they can handle whatever life throws at them.

Jeanette’s Approach

Jeanette’s approach is to create a warm and loving space for each person she encounters. For many, therapy is still stigmatized, talking to a stranger can be awkward. However, Jeanette’s goal is to make her clients feel heard, seen, valued, and encouraged. Jeanette wants this to be a space where each person can drop off the luggage of hurt, pain, loneliness, worthlessness, that has been weighing them down and trade it for joy, peace, love, and resilience.
